Community rules

ChatMove works when comments are honest, first-hand and fair. When you post, stick to these rules.

Do

• Share what you saw or know first-hand: viewings, the street, the building, the area, dealing with the agent.
• Say what's fact and what's your opinion.
• Ask questions. Someone may know the answer.
• Say so if you work for the agent, the seller or the landlord.

Don't

• Post personal details about anyone, including sellers, tenants, landlords and neighbours: names, contact details, or anything that identifies a private individual.
• Accuse anyone of a crime, or state as fact things you can't back up.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post anything discriminatory.
• Post spam, advertising or undisclosed self-promotion.
• Post anything illegal, or copy content you don't have the right to share (including Rightmove's).

Moderation

Anyone signed in can report a comment. A comment reported by three different people is hidden until a moderator reviews it. Moderators may hide or remove comments and suspend accounts that break these rules. People who aren't ChatMove users can raise a complaint. We aim to respond to complaints within 48 hours.

Terms of use

1. Who we are. ChatMove is run by Fareed Dudhia in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@chatmove.co.uk.
2. Who can use it. You must be 18 or over to use ChatMove.
3. Your comments. You're responsible for what you post, and it must follow the community rules. You keep ownership of your comments. By posting, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show them on ChatMove, including our website and the extension. You can delete your comments or your whole account at any time.
4. No endorsement. Comments are the opinions of the people who wrote them. We don't check them and they aren't advice. Check anything important yourself before making decisions about a property.
5. Not Rightmove. ChatMove is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Rightmove. The extension shows our panel alongside Rightmove pages in your own browser; it doesn't change or copy Rightmove's content.
6. Sponsored content. ChatMove may show one clearly labelled sponsored item in each thread. Sponsors don't see who you are or what you browse.
7. Suspension. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.
8. The service. ChatMove is provided free and as is. We may change or stop it. We aren't liable for losses caused by comments posted by other people, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
